Empowering the Future: Celebrating the International Day of the Girl Child in Igbere
In celebration of the International Day of the Girl Child, the Neya Kalu Foundation(NKF) reaffirmed its commitment to education, empowerment, and community development in Igbere, Abia State, Nigeria. Rooted in a deep love for Neya Kalu’s hometown and a passion for uplifting young girls, the foundation continues to prioritise initiatives that begin at home and radiate outward.

Although the founder was unable to attend the event in person due to prior engagements, a heartfelt message was delivered to the girls of Igbere, encouraging them to dream boldly and lead fearlessly. The NKF’s team was on ground to engage with the girls and share in the spirit of the day.

Looking ahead, the foundation is preparing to launch three transformative projects in Igbere, each designed to expand access to education, enhance skills development, and create sustainable opportunities for young women and girls.

On this special day, the foundation celebrates every girl—those who have paved the way, those who are shaping the present, and those who will inspire generations to come.

The future is bright, and it begins with her!
